BASICS

*Baggo boards will be 27 feet apart

*El Baggo will be played with 4 players

*Each team gets 4 bags to throw

*Team members must stand at opposite ends and may throw from either side of the box

*Team members must be across from each other

*Each player throws from behind the front of the board. This is the foul line. The player must not pass the foul line or the players throw does not count and the bag is removed from play.

*Each team alternates shots beginning with the team that scored last

* After each game, players must switch ends and throw from the other end for game 2. Switch ends again after game 2 for game 3. There will be 3 games played total

*First team to reach 21 or more wins (you do not have to hit 21 exactly) if the game is tied at 21 points at the end of an inning, play continues until one team achieves a higher score at the end and there will no longer be an cancellation of points for the extra innings

Scoring El Baggo

*Points are scored when a player has a bag on the board or in the hole

*Only one team can score per round. Therefore points cancel each other out

* A point is scored on the board=1 Point In the hole= 3 points

* An example of cancellation is a s follows: Team One has 2 bags in the hole and 1 bag on the board equaling 7 points (3 pts + 3 pts + 1 pt = 7 pts). Team two has 1 bag in the hole and 1 bag on the board equaling 4 points ( 3pts + 1 pts = 4 pts). The lowest score is subtracted from the highest score to get the points earned for Team one (7pts - 4pts = 3 pts). Team one earns 3 points in this round and gets to throw first in the next round.

* Team nightly wins will be recorded with an El Paso Employee

* 3 games will played in one hour. Schedules will be given the first night of league and and standings will be posted on our website

* A bag that is tossed in play and knocks another bag off or in the hole is legal.

* A bag that bounces from the ground onto the board is NOT a legal play. This bag must be removed from the board and play is then continued.

* A bag that hits the ceiling or walls or any other foreign object is counted as a toss and is not eligible for a “re-throw” but if it lands on board or in the hole you get the point

*Team mates must play at least 3 times in the season to be in the playoffs...no changing partners
